At least Theo isn’t afraid of bugs too! That be terrible, to be stuck with an ironic fear like that. Like a chef who’s afraid of food! or a blind cave salamander who’s afraid of the dark! Or to have wings and be afraid of heigh… oh wait.

It’s strange. When I see the first panel I can just think of a theory for the sky islands. They could be dead clouds because when you flip over the clouds in the first panel then you could see one of these sky islands. Or giving this comics logic they could be made out of ancient lighter than air cereal.
